My senior year of high school, I had more than one teacher tell me that “College professors won’t care if you turn in your work or not. They’ll just fail you.” Turns out that’s true. You know what the college professors should have told me?
“The real world doesn’t exist. What you need to do is figure out where Chris Creed wants to put a dent in the universe and make it loud. Define your own success. Love people, tell good stories, and make stuff that will change the world. ”
The most infuriating truth about your success is that it’s up to you. No one is telling you it’s time to turn in your work. Yet it’s due every. single. day. It’s up to you. Infuriating and liberating.
